Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a hands-on Finance Controller for a Dudley-based, full-time temporary role. You will manage financial reporting, produce P&L and Balance Sheet statements, handle banking, BACS payments and reconciliations, and oversee purchase ledger and credit control functions.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you should have strong technical accounting skills, commercial awareness and the ability to work accurately within deadlines in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in producing P&L and Balance Sheet accounts.
• Strong technical accounting skills and accuracy under deadlines.
• Ability to manage day-to-day finance operations in a busy manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Financial Control & Reporting to the Finance Director.
• Prepare accurate P&L accounts and Balance Sheets.
• Oversee banking activities and BACS payments.
• Complete reconciliations and month-end procedures.
• Support Purchase Ledger and Credit Control functions.
• Provide regular financial reports and analysis.
