Ashby is seeking an engineering manager to build a different kind of engineering team and culture in Europe. You’ll focus on ownership, coaching, and keeping engineers empowered to make decisions while remaining hands-on when appropriate.

You’ll drive performance, growth, and a culture that values fast delivery and high-quality code. The role blends management with technical leadership and involves mentoring engineers, refining processes, and delivering impactful demos.

Qualifications

• Must combine management with hands-on technical skills.
• Experience coaching engineers and building ownership culture.
• Familiar with product specs and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Provide feedback on product and technical specs to help engineers scope appropriately.
• Grow engineers to take large, loosely defined projects with minimal intervention.
• Jump into systems to debug issues or ship small fixes.
• Improve data generation in demo accounts to impact business.
