Cummins is seeking an enthusiastic Electronic Controls Placement Student to join the Engine Business Unit in Darlington, United Kingdom. You will support the team to configure, integrate, test, and release software and electronic control units into the system that powers Cummins’ products across customer applications.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a STEM subject at degree level with a 12-month industry placement.
• Willingness to learn and strong collaborative skills.
• Clear communication in technical documentation and reports.

Responsabilités

• Validating calibrations for the Engine Control Unit (ECU).
• Planning and carrying out verification and validation testing for developed calibrations and engine controllers.
• Analyzing data from the field and end users, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Preparing and presenting technical documentation for design reviews as part of product development.
• Working in cross-functional teams to develop products and resolve issues.
