Headway Recruitment is partnering with a UK-based manufacturer to recruit an Electromechanical Assembler for a hands-on, workshop-based role in Leeds. You will assemble electrical and electromechanical products, following detailed drawings and instructions to ensure high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical or electromechanical assembly.
• Ability to follow works instructions accurately and consistently.
• Understanding of quality control, inspection or acceptance testing.
• Confidence using basic measuring equipment and checking components to drawings.
• Practical, hands-on mindset with good attention to detail.
• Experience in machining, CNC, engineering production or manufacturing environments would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and mechanical assembly of products and sub-assemblies.
• Working to engineering drawings, works instructions and technical documentation.
• Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping on the shop floor.
• Contributing towards the ongoing development of the business.
• Carrying out electrical wiring and assembly (depending on experience).
• Batch testing, fault finding and basic electrical testing where appropriate.
