Job summary

Omega Plc in the United Kingdom seeks a Contract Electrical Maintenance Engineer to service, adjust and repair process and production machinery, ensuring safe and proper operation. You will examine equipment, report on condition and plan improvements, and perform planned and preventative maintenance on schedule.

Occasional overtime and flexibility are expected to support production needs. The role requires an electrical or mechanical engineering NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, PLC/automation

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electrical or mechanical engineering or similar manufacturing.
• Equivalent in electrical or mechanical fields preferably with a manufacturing background.
• Competent electrical engineering professional with PLC/automation experience and safe systems of work.
• This is an all-round hands-on maintenance role including conveyors and processing.

Responsibilities

• Service, adjust and repair process and production machinery using necessary tools in a safe manner.
• Examine machinery and equipment and report on condition, performance, and improvements.
• Carry out Planned and preventative maintenance to agreed schedules.
• Overtime may be required to support production.
