Job summary

NEOS Engineering in Ipswich is seeking a hands-on Plant Supervisor to oversee day-to-day plant operations, manage concrete and mortar production, and supervise a busy site across East Anglia.

You will operate computerised batching systems, coordinate deliveries, ensure safety standards, and travel between sites as needed. A practical, mechanically minded candidate with strong communication and organisational skills is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in plant, manufacturing, production, construction materials or heavy industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day plant operations; manage concrete and mortar production.
• Operate computerised batching systems; coordinate with customers, hauliers and internal teams.
• Monitor production output, quality and stock levels; organize deliveries.
• Carry out routine plant inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Supervise contractors, visitors and site personnel; maintain health & safety standards.
• Identify operational issues and take ownership of resolving them.
• Travel between company sites across East Anglia when required.
