Job summary

PEM (Power Electronic Measurements) in Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire, seeks a calibration engineer to join our manufacturing operations. The role covers calibration, test, inspection, fault-finding and repair of PEM's measurement products in a hands-on environment.

The successful candidate will work with electronic test equipment, follow calibration procedures, and support delivering high-quality measurement instruments to customers. Full in-house training is provided.

Qualifications

• HNC or equivalent in electronic engineering or related subject is required.
• Experience with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes and DMMs.
• Strong diagnostic skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to build and repair electronic circuit boards.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, test, inspect, fault-find and repair PEM’s measurement products.
• Work with electronic test equipment and follow established calibration procedures.
• Support delivery of reliable, high-quality measurement instruments to customers.
• Receive full in-house training on product operation and calibration methods.
