Job summary

Student Castle is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to oversee the rolling programme of repairs and maintenance across our properties. You will manage contracted works, conduct routine M&E checks, and ensure safety and compliance while guiding a hands-on team.

The role requires strong fault-finding across building services, budget oversight, and the ability to coordinate with management to minimise disruption for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Experienced in a multi discipline maintenance environment with ongoing professional development.
• GCSE level English and Maths (grade C) or equivalent.
• Current driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance across sites, delivering planned and reactive works.
• Manage on-site contractors and coordinate budgets and expenditures.
• Undertake routine maintenance checks on M&E equipment and building systems.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and maintain records and reports.
• Coach and mentor colleagues in maintenance and technical tasks.
