Job summary

Anne Corder Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an Assembly Technician in Milton Keynes to join an established manufacturing team. You will perform hands-on mechanical assembly, fitting and installation using hand tools, and support hydraulic installation and basic electrical wiring as you develop skills.

The role offers a starting salary of £29,000 per year with overtime opportunities and a pay review after probation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in assembly or a similar practical role.
• Confident using basic hand tools and reading drawings.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.
• Reliable with good attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a production team to assemble equipment safely and to the required quality standards.
• Carry out hands-on mechanical assembly, fitting and installation using hand tools.
• Assist with hydraulic installation and basic electrical wiring as training and competence develop.
• Follow engineering drawings, work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Inspect completed work, identify any issues and help maintain high standards of quality.
• Keep the work area organised, follow health and safety procedures and support the team in meeting production targets.
