Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting for an Assembler in Halesowen. The role involves hands-on assembly and operation of production machinery, with quality checks throughout the process. The hours are Monday to Thursday 7am–4:15pm and Friday 7am–12pm, offering an early finish on Fridays.

The position supports a busy manufacturing team, with opportunities to progress from temporary to permanent and benefits including free on-site parking and a company pension.

Qualifications

Previous experience in assembly, production, manufacturing or machine operation.
Confident using hand tools and power tools.
Good understanding of health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Work as part of a busy production and assembly team.
Operate automatic production machinery.
Support setup and adjustment of machinery.
Carry out basic checks on machinery and equipment.
Complete quality checks throughout the production process.
Use hand tools and power tools as required.
Move materials around the production area.
Keep the work area clean, organised and safe.
Meet production targets with high quality standards.
Report machinery or process issues promptly.
