Job summary

North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Band 4 Therapy Assistant Practitioner (0.59 WTE, 22 hours) in Hand Therapy. The post supports hand injury rehab across three sites with regular training and supervision, based at the PCH site.

You will carry a caseload of non-complex patients, deliver treatment plans under therapist supervision, and work within MDTs to aid timely discharge while supporting service delivery and learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Undertake assessments and treatments for patients screened by a Therapist
• Manage own caseload of non-complex patients with supervised treatment plans
• Collaborate within Multidisciplinary and Multi-agency teams to support timely discharge
• Deliver patient-centred care under supervision of Therapists
• Participate in in-service training and mentor Band 2/3 therapy assistants
• Support six- or seven-day service delivery as required
• Adhere to Trust values and redeployment priorities
