Job summary

Aramark UK is hiring a Zero Hours Hall Porter at Northwood HQ, Middlesex (HA6 3HP). Location is Northwood HQ with a pay rate of £13.45 per hour. This permanent, zero-hours contract requires 24-hour cover with weekend shifts and lone worker duties in a busy reception environment.

You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, manage reception operations, and provide admin support. On-site gym, parking, and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent telephone and face-to-face communication.
• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for visitors, calls, deliveries and drivers, providing a professional and welcoming reception service.
• Manage all reception operations and records, including post, newspapers, daily information updates, and reporting.
• Provide administrative support including stock checks, cash float, and key control.
• Maintain a safe, secure and tidy environment, carry out security and fire rounds, and clear public areas as needed.
• Report defects via the helpdesk and ensure repairs are followed through.
• Support on-site activities and training as required.

Whatyou’lldo:

• Support on‑site activities and mess functions and participate in training as required.
  

This is a 24-hour cover, so shifts include weekends. Also, this is a lone worker position.

Whatwe’relooking for:

• UK resident for the past 3 years with legal right to work
• Able to pass security vetting and DBS checks
• Must be 18+
• Basic numeracy skills.
• Excellent telephone and face-to-face communication
• Organised
• Ability to work a variety of shifts.
