Job summary

Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive educator to lead haemoglobinopathy education across the Southwest HCC network. The role focuses on developing training materials, delivering monthly MDT teaching sessions, and coordinating education for adults, children and families affected by Sickle cell, Thalassaemia and rare anaemias.

You will work with the service manager to shape the agenda, engage other Trusts, and deliver high-quality educational sessions that support staff development

Qualifications

• Nursing qualification and active NMC registration.
• Evidence of continuing professional development.
• Experience in teaching, mentoring or education delivery.
• Experience in working across departmental and site boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Develop educational materials for haemoglobinopathy care.
• Deliver monthly SW HCC MDT teaching sessions.
• Support network education through the annual study day.
