North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 6 Haemodialysis Nurse for the Renal Unit at West Cumberland Hospital, Whitehaven, with duties also at Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle. On-call availability is required.

You will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate nursing care for haemodialysis patients, take charge of the unit regularly and provide leadership to the team to ensure high‑quality patient care and efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active registration (NMC).
• Renal/nursing leadership and clinical supervision.
• CPD and portfolio development recommended.

Responsabilités

• Provide and lead haemodialysis nursing care without supervision.
• Take charge of the dialysis unit regularly and lead on-call shifts.
• Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate patient care for haemodialysis patients.
• Develop and maintain high standards of patient care and unit efficiency.
