Job summary

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Pharmacist with haematology/SACT expertise to clinically verify regimens and support chemotherapy services across our sites.

You will collaborate with Lead Pharmacists to ensure high-quality, patient-centered clinical pharmacy for all patients and liaise with the MDT to implement effective interventions and policy updates.

Qualifications

• M. Pharm or equivalent and GPhS registration.
• Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent.
• Evidence of CPD and ongoing professional practice.
• Experience leading pharmacy teams or departments.
• Strong communication and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of SACT, BOPA standards and chemotherapy pathways.

Responsibilities

• Clinically verify SACT regimens and prescriptions in ARIA.
• Provide specialist information on SACT and chemotherapy services.
• Collaborate with Lead Pharmacists to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Support NHS Cancer Strategy delivery and cross-site coordination.
• Liaise with MDT to implement interventions and policy updates.

Education

M. Pharm or equivalent (4 years)

Post graduate Certificate in Clinical Pharmacy

Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Society

Evidence of CPD and professional practice

Leadership and team management

Advanced communication skills

AR IA knowledge or experience
