East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust is recruiting a Haematology-Oncology Nurse Specialist to provide specialist nursing care for patients with haematological malignancies. You will develop clinical expertise, undertake bone marrow biopsies where appropriate, and support patient education and care planning.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care, triage helpline calls, and help run nurse-led clinics while managing your own caseload with autonomy

Formación

• Active, current registration as an Adult Nurse on the NMC register.
• Education to at least degree level (BSc).
• Post-registration module in SACT, Oncology or Haematology/Oncology.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake bone marrow biopsies where required and support clinics.
• Assess patients holistically and plan evidence-based care.
• Triaging, prioritising and responding to helpline enquiries.
• Deliver patient education about conditions and self-management.
• Collaborate with MDTs and manage own caseload independently.
