University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Band 6 nurse to join the Haematology and Oncology Research Team. Based at Heartlands, with work across Good Hope and Solihull, you will manage trial patients and lead delivery of clinical studies in collaboration with sponsors and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualificações

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (Adult).
• Experience in complex NHS care settings and supervising junior staff.
• Ability to lead and coordinate shifts/areas within a department.
• Experience in learning from incidents/complaints and contributing to practice changes.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver a portfolio of clinical trials in haematology/oncology in accordance with protocols and GCP.
• Undertake patient assessment, vital signs, ECGs, cannulation, phlebotomy, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with pharmacy, laboratories, imaging, and clinical teams to deliver studies and monitor progress.
• Coordinate workload with senior researchers and support study set-up and governance requirements.
