Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in Sutton is seeking a HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist (Band 7) for a locum position in Blood Sciences. The role involves supervising daily Haematology laboratory operations and ensuring timely, high-quality results within an NHS setting.

You will lead rotations and training with Haematology and BT seniors, deputise for the Haematology Lead, and support staff development through supervision and competencies.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Degree in Biomedical Sciences is required.
• Full UK right to work is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operation of the Haematology laboratory and ensure timely, accurate, high-quality analytical service.
• Coordinate rotations and training with Haematology and BT seniors, manage rotations to meet service needs.
