Liverpool Clinical Laboratories is recruiting a Band 3 Medical Laboratory Assistant to join the Haematology and Transfusion team at the Royal site. This busy 24-hour department processes thousands of samples and relies on accurate specimen handling and reliable support to Biomedical Scientists.

You will process clinical specimens, assist with instrument maintenance, run internal QC, and carry out routine housekeeping duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in Haematology/Transfusion laboratory workflows.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Process clinical specimens for testing in Haematology and Transfusion.
• Assist with instrument maintenance and QC procedures.
• Perform unsupervised housekeeping laboratory duties as directed.
• Work under the direction of Biomedical Scientists and colleagues.
