Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Haematology Consultant with a specialist interest in Myeloid and General Haematology to join Kings Mill Hospital. Part-time flexible working arrangements are available; the post supports a 1:6 on-call rotation and potential out-patient sessions.

Qualifications

• Specialist trainee/consultant level in Haematology with interest in Myeloid and General Haematology.
• GMC specialist registration or on track for it at time of interview.
• Fellowship or equivalent qualification in Haematology/related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and laboratory Haematology services for Sherwood Forest Hospitals.
• Participate in on-call Haematology rota (1:6) and ward rounds.
• Contribute to business planning and development of Haematology services.
