Job overview

In partnership with members of the multidisciplinary Haematology team, the post holder will develop, implement, and evaluate a seamless specialist service, ensuring high standards of clinical care for patients. They will act as a lead specialist, providing expert advice, education, and support to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals. The post involves clinical audits and research within the specialist area.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will contribute to the development of clinical practice, research, and standards of care, including developing policies, protocols, and guidelines. They will collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues and ensure the safety and dignity of service users through person-centered care principles.

This position requires a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check at Enhanced Level, including checks against vulnerable adults and children.
