This role involves conducting nurse-led clinics and bone marrow procedures while ensuring high standards of patient care in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with haematology consultants and contribute to the professional development of nursing staff.
The Haematology team at the Barnet and Chase Farm Site is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist. The postholder will play a key role in supporting and developing specialist malignant services at the Trust.
This is an exciting time to be joining the department and organisation, with the Haematology department setting out a clear vision for the development of its malignant, specialist services. The successful postholder will undertake nurse led clinics and bone marrow procedures.
The post will be based across the Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals. You will provide leadership and support development to the Haematology specialist nursing team as well as being responsible for the delivery of high quality, responsive, safe and effective care that improves patient outcomes and patient experience.
The role involves close collaboration with the Consultant Haematologists and applicants should have the ability to work autonomously, have excellent communication skills, a flexible approach, and be motivated and enthusiastic.
