Job summary

Pulse Healthcare seeks a Band 6 Haematology/Blood Transfusion Biomedical Scientist for an ongoing locum in Derby. You will perform haematology and transfusion analyses to support patient care, ensure timely results, troubleshoot equipment, and uphold NHS safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have IBMS Haematology/Transfusion Specialist Diploma (desirable), strong analytical skills, and ability to work independently and within a team, with 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• IBMS Specialist Diploma in Haematology or Blood Transfusion (desirable).
• Proven experience in haematology and blood transfusion laboratory settings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct haematology and blood transfusion tests, including full blood counts, coagulation studies, and blood film morphology.
