H&S / CDM Advisor Engineering Consultancy

Colchester (or London): full hybrid, flexible working: 2 days office / 3 days home

Up to £50,000 + benefits

Key Duties

1. Advise and assist with client and project demands.
2. Provide advice and support on how to comply with specific Health and Safety regulations.
3. Ensure suitable arrangements are made and implemented to coordinate health and Safety measures during the planning and preparation phases of construction. Complete all appropriate paperwork and communicate it through the appropriate channels.
4. Assist with the development of strategies for maintaining the flow of relevant Health and Safety-related information throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.
5. Ensure all project designs meet safety requirements through liaising with principal contractors and other stakeholders.
6. Advise clients on the practicality of their project in specific terms of CDM Regulations.
7. Manage a portfolio of multiple CDM projects at different stages for internal and external clients, ensuring these are proactively managed.

Essential Skills, Experience, And Attributes

1. Knowledge of legislation relevant to the construction industry and willing to learn and develop knowledge within the field of CDM and Health and Safety.
2. Qualification in health and safety (NEBOSH construction, TechIOSH etc.).
3. Previous CDM experience.
