Job summary

PureGym Ltd. is looking for a General Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming gym environment. You will sanitize equipment, facilities, and high-touch areas while supporting a first-rate member experience.

The role requires reliable, proactive individuals who can work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to duties and hours. You will be part of the Gym Operations team ensuring standards are met daily.

Responsibilities

• Regularly clean and sanitise gym equipment, facilities, common areas, studios, changing rooms and high-touch surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the gym by vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and general housekeeping tasks.
• Clean and sanitise toilets, washrooms, showers, changing areas and team welfare spaces.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces to keep the club clean and welcoming.
• Remove litter from internal and external areas and keep member-facing spaces hazard-free.
• Conduct gym standards checks and record results per procedures.
• Restock cleaning stations, washroom consumables, vending machines and other supplies.
• Follow cleaning, health and safety, COSHH, and procedures to ensure safety.
• Respond to member feedback regarding cleanliness and facilities with excellent service.
• Maintain brand standards, ensuring safety, compliance and welcoming environment.
• Carry out regular gym resets for a tidy, safe floor ready for use.
