Job summary

JD Gyms, a fast-growing budget gym chain in the UK, is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness across our facilities. You will balance meticulous cleaning with friendly member interactions and uphold brand standards.

You will perform daily, weekly and monthly checks, report defects to keep the gym safe, and contribute to training videos to help the team deliver exceptional service. Prior experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Hard working with strong interpersonal skills and great attention to detail.
• Demonstrates a passion for exceeding expectations.
• Previous experience in a similar role with the ability to multitask and work unsupervised.
• Effective communication skills and approachable to members and staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all policies and procedures in Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.
• Adhere to and maintain the JD Gyms Brand Standard.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report all defects to ensure the building and its equipment are safe to use.
• Ensure the whole gym facility is of the highest standard of cleanliness.
• Ensure uniform standards are adhered to by yourself.
• Deliver outstanding member service.
• Participate in colleague training videos to assist in delivering exceptional standards.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties.
