Job summary

JD Gyms in the UK is seeking a dedicated cleaner to join our busy gym team. You will uphold our brand standards, carry out daily, weekly and monthly cleaning and safety checks, and interact with members to deliver excellent service.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, reliability and the ability to work unsupervised while contributing to a welcoming, high-quality environment across the club.

Good communication and a proactive mindset will help you thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Hard working with strong interpersonal skills and great attention to detail.
• Demonstrates a passion for exceeding expectations.
• Previous experience in a similar role, with the ability to multi task & work unsupervised.
• Effective communication skills and approachable to members and other staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.
• Responsible for adhering to and maintaining the JD Gyms Brand Standard.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report all defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.
• To ensure the whole of the gym facility is of the highest standard of cleanliness.
• To ensure uniform standards are being adhered to by yourself.
• To always deliver outstanding member service.
• To participate in colleague training videos to assist in the delivery of exceptional standards across the group.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties.
