Job summary

JD Gyms is expanding across the UK and is looking for a dedicated cleaning assistant to join our busy clubs. You will uphold meticulous cleanliness standards while engaging with members and supporting a safe, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include daily, weekly and monthly cleaning checks, reporting issues, maintaining brand standards, and contributing to exceptional member service. You will work with colleagues to train and deliver outstanding cleanliness across the group.

Qualifications

• Hardworking, with strong interpersonal skills and great attention to detail.
• Demonstrates a passion for exceeding expectations.
• Previous experience in a similar role, with the ability to multi task & work unsupervised.
• Effective communication skills and approachable to members and other staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all policies and procedures in both the Health and Safety Employee Policy and Company Procedures Handbook are adhered to.
• Responsible for adhering to and maintaining the JD Gyms Brand Standard.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly cleaning and safety checks.
• Report all defects to ensure the building and its equipment is safe to use.
• To ensure the whole of the gym facility is of the highest standard of cleanliness.
• To ensure uniform standards are being adhered to by yourself.
• To always deliver outstanding member service.
• To participate in colleague training videos to assist in the delivery of exceptional standards across the group.
• To undertake any other reasonable duties.
