Job summary

Burnley College is seeking an experienced Gym and Class Coordinator for its Fitness Evolution team. The role requires a Level 3 fitness instructor qualification and ideally a First Aid qualification.

You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure high quality fitness training, inductions, and programmes for gym users. The post also involves coordinating class delivery and monitoring performance on-site at Burnley College.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth running of classes and provide high quality fitness training, advice, programmes and inductions to gym users.
• Manage the class programme by monitoring delivery quality, attendance figures, class viability and make changes in discussion with the Operations Manager.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced, positive and self-motivated individual to join the Burnley College Fitness Evolution team as a Gym and Class Coordinator.

With a Level 3 fitness instructor qualification, and ideally a recognised First Aid qualification. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team, to ensure the smooth running of classes, providing high quality fitness training, advice, programmes and inductions to gym users.

The post holder will be the expected to ensure the smooth running of classes, provide high quality fitness training, advice, programmes inductions to gym users as well as managing the class programme through close monitoring of the quality of delivery, attendance figures, class viability and making changes where needed in discussion with the Operations Manager.

The salary for this post is Up to £24,559
