Job summary

VRS Equipment Leasing Limited is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations in a GxP-regulated manufacturing facility in the English countryside. The role focuses on cleanroom production, quality and compliance, and hands-on leadership to drive efficiency, equipment performance and safe working practices.

You will collaborate with Quality, R&D and Commercial teams to ensure timely product release and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a GxP-compliant manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in cleanroom operations.
• Degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
• Confident managing change in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
• Excellent communication, team leadership and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the production team in a GxP-regulated cleanroom environment
• Organise production space and workflow, ensuring manufacturing processes run efficiently and to schedule
• Oversee maintenance and operation of production equipment
• Ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained to the highest level
• Enforce GxP standards across all production activities
• Support documentation creation, review and implementation
• Act as subject matter expert during audits, inspections, and internal quality investigations
• Participate in equipment qualification, validation and training initiatives
• Identify and raise deviations, lead root cause analysis, and implement CAPA actions
• Work closely with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, R&D and Commercial teams to ensure timely product release
