Job summary

Aberdeenshire Council is seeking a driver to operate the Gully Emptier Vehicle and assist with road maintenance and construction as part of a small team. You will work outside normal hours, including standby and call-out, and participate in winter maintenance operations to keep our network safe in challenging conditions.

The post requires a commitment to quality service delivery and continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

Qualifications

• This post has a minimum requirement of one reference, which must be your current or most recent employer.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate the Gully Emptier Vehicle and assist, generally as part of a team, in the maintenance and construction of Roads.
• Assist with maintenance work on roads and in winter operations, including standby/call out duties.
• Demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
