Job summary

PwC, a leading professional services firm, seeks a Manager-level Guidewire BillingCenter Functional Consultant to join the Advisory team in the UK. You will help deliver end-to-end billing solutions for insurance clients, leveraging Guidewire BillingCenter across the policy lifecycle.

You will mentor junior analysts, lead design workshops, coordinate delivery backlogs with Product Owners, and collaborate with stakeholders across client sites and office.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of the insurance sector, particularly in functional roles
• Strong understanding of Guidewire BillingCenter and the end-to-end insurance billing lifecycle
• Proficient in agile delivery methodologies: Kanban, Scrum, SAFe
• Effective communicator with ability to build lasting client relationships
• Guidewire Certified Ace desirable – BillingCenter Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis of business requirements and functional design of Guidewire BillingCenter solutions across the end-to-end billing lifecycle, including invoicing, premium and charge processing, payment plans and schedules, and PolicyCenter‑BillingCenter integration.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications.
• Drive functional design workshops for BillingCenter implementations.
• Work with the Product Owner to create, manage and sequence delivery backlogs.
• Document 'As Is' and 'To Be' processes to identify process improvements.
• Assist in the development and implementation of Target Operating Models.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Business Analysts.
• Coordinate project inputs and define reporting structures to management.
