Job summary

MBDA is seeking a Guidance, Control and Navigation Engineer for an Undergraduate Placement in the UK. The role is on-site full-time, with BPSS security checks after offer. It provides real-world project exposure and the chance to secure a graduate role based on performance.

You'll work across four specialist areas, from guidance and control to navigation and command-and-control, while learning from experienced teams and using MATLAB/SIMULINK daily.

Qualifications

• Currently an undergraduate pursuing a degree in Physics, Mathematical Sciences, Engineering or Computing.
• Interest in guidance, control and navigation for missile systems.
• Willingness to work on-site at MBDA facilities in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and tuning of autopilot algorithms.
• Support navigation state estimation and data fusion tasks.
• Develop and test algorithms using MATLAB/SIMULINK.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to learn system integration.
