Job summary
MBDA is seeking a Navigation Sensors Engineer placed in the UK to support the design and testing of missile navigation subsystems. You will work 4 days a week on-site, engaging in hands-on research and rapid analyses while collaborating with MBDA France and the MBDA Group.
The 1-year placement starts September 2027, with potential to secure a graduate role. A company bonus, pension up to 14%, overtime opportunities, and generous leave are included.
Qualifications
- Current undergraduate working towards a degree in a Physics, Mathematics, Electronics, or Engineering discipline.
- Security clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.
- Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. After offer, BPSS checks will be conducted.
Responsibilities
- Support tests and trials to evaluate navigation equipment performance.
- Hands-on research and design activities to develop navigation equipment.
- Monitor supplier and technology developments and identify future technologies.
- Collaborate with suppliers and researchers for new and emerging technology.
- Investigate engineering problems and conduct rapid technical analyses.
