Job description

Ethos Farm is delighted to be recruiting for a Receptionist/Guest Services Associate located at Electric Boulevard in Battersea Power Station, London’s newest urban quarter.

The iconic Grade II* listed building and surrounding spaces are being revitalized as one of the world's most exciting and innovative mixed-use neighborhoods.

Responsibilities:
  • Greeting occupiers and their guests at 50 Electric Boulevard with a warm welcome and farewell, demonstrating our Service Personality to encourage positive feedback.
  • Supporting building security by complying with access control processes, signing in guests, being vigilant to potential threats, and collaborating with the site security team.
  • Providing information to occupiers and guests about the building, services, the Power Station, and onward travel options.
  • Responding to inbound telephone calls and emails promptly, always aiming to deliver excellent service and find solutions.
  • Assisting occupiers with event planning in our event spaces and coordinating event plans with service partners according to standard operating procedures.
  • Completing all reporting requirements accurately, including data entry, fault reporting, and updating occupier records.
  • Participating in the 50 Electric Boulevard response team and providing assistance during incidents and contingency events, such as fire alarms, following standard procedures.
Required Skills:
  • Confidence in using IT equipment and systems, including laptops, tablets, phones, diaries, emails, access control, and fault logging systems.
  • Excellent written English skills, including spelling and grammar, with the ability to respond professionally to emails from occupiers, guests, and clients.
  • Flexibility and a proactive attitude, especially during the mobilization period when changes are likely.
  • Confidence working independently and prioritizing tasks during periods of high workload.
  • Ability to provide warm, friendly, and professional service aligned with our Service Personality, and communicate effectively with corporate clients in an office environment.
  • Team-oriented mindset, working effectively with other service partners and directly with the client.

Shifts are scheduled from Monday to Sunday, with patterns of 9:30-18:30 or 12:30-21:30, and Fridays and Saturdays ending at 22:30. Candidates should be available for a mix of weekends and weekdays, ideally working 32-40 hours per week.

Contract: Flexible hours

Wage: £13.85 per hour
