Job description

Ethos Farm is delighted to be recruiting for a Receptionist/Guest Services Associate located at Electric Boulevard in Battersea Power Station, London’s newest urban quarter.

The iconic Grade II* listed building and surrounding spaces are being revitalized as one of the world's most exciting and innovative mixed-use neighborhoods.

This area offers a unique blend of restaurants, shops, parks, and cultural spaces for locals, tourists, and residents to enjoy. It is a vibrant place to work, live, shop, eat, and relax.

Responsibilities:
  • Greeting occupiers and their guests warmly at 50 Electric Boulevard and bidding farewell upon departure, demonstrating our Service Personality to encourage positive feedback.
  • Supporting building security by adhering to access control procedures, signing in guests, remaining vigilant to potential threats, and collaborating with the security team.
  • Providing information to occupiers and guests about the building, services, the Power Station, and transportation options.
  • Managing inbound calls and emails efficiently, ensuring high-quality customer service and problem-solving.
  • Assisting with event planning in our event spaces and coordinating with service partners according to standard procedures.
  • Completing reports accurately, including data entry, fault reporting, and updating occupancy records.
  • Participating in the 50 Electric Boulevard response team, providing assistance during incidents and emergencies such as fire alarms, following established protocols.
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency with IT equipment and systems, such as laptops, tablets, phones, email, access control, and fault logging systems.
  • Excellent written English skills, including spelling and grammar, with the ability to respond professionally via email.
  • Flexibility and a proactive attitude, especially during the mobilization period.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle periods of high workload.
  • Strong customer service skills, delivering friendly, professional service aligned with our Service Personality and effectively communicating with corporate clients and guests.
  • Teamwork skills, collaborating effectively with different service partners and the client.

Working hours are Monday to Sunday, with shifts from 09:30-18:30 or 12:30-21:30, and until 22:30 on Fridays and Saturdays. Candidates should be available to work a mix of weekends and weekdays, ideally 32-40 hours per week.

Contract: Flexible hours
Wage: £13.85 per hour
