Job summary

Sodexo in Addlestone is seeking a proactive Guest Services Assistant to maintain a welcoming, safe, and professional environment for employees, visitors and contractors. The role focuses on first impressions, reception duties, and efficient support across mail, meetings, and security functions.

You will deliver excellent customer service, manage multiple tasks in a busy corporate setting, and contribute to a smooth day-to-day operation while adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Required: SIA, First Aid, Manual Handling and Display Screen Equipment (DSE) training.
• Desirable: IOSH qualification.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and manage visitor registration, access passes and reception duties.
• Answer telephone calls and provide a professional switchboard service.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, parcels, couriers and office supplies.
• Support meeting room bookings and liaise with the Hospitality Team regarding catering requirements.
• Log helpdesk requests, monitor progress and escalate issues where necessary.
• Support site security, including access control, keys, CCTV and building opening/closing where required.
• Monitor facilities, report faults and help maintain a safe, clean and well-presented workplace.
• Maintain accurate records and complete reports as required.
• Build positive relationships with clients, colleagues, visitors and external suppliers.
• Follow all company policies and health and safety procedures.

• Experience in reception, facilities, mailroom or guest services is desirable.
