Job summary

Hilton Northampton is seeking a Food and Beverage lead to oversee daily banquet operations and deliver memorable guest experiences.

You will plan, organize, and execute events across F&B outlets, supervise setup and breakdown, coordinate with teams, and manage staff performance while upholding health and safety standards. Flexible evening shifts are available.

Responsibilities

• Delight guests with a friendly attitude and proactively seek ways to enhance their experience
• Plan, organize, and execute events across F&B outlets, including breakfasts, breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktails, and galas
• Oversee function room setups with linens, silverware, glassware, chinaware to meet standards
• Communicate event specifications and updates to Food and Beverage teams
• Ensure smooth event breakdowns and proper storage of equipment for subsequent events
• Manage F&B team performance through scheduling, supervision, coaching, and recognition
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations to safeguard guests and staff

Exceptional Hospitality Starts with You Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a Food and Beverage lead, you’re not just overseeing the seamless execution of daily banquet operations – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

• Delight our guests: Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to all guest interactions and proactively look for ways to make their experience special
• Supervise execution of events: Plan, organize, and execute various events within our F&B outlets, such as breakfasts, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, and galas.
• Ensure a flawless event setup: Oversee the setup of function rooms, ensuring linens, silverware, glassware, and chinaware are arranged according to event specifications and quality standards
• Collaborate for success: Communicate event specifications, procedures, and updates to relevant teams in Food and Beverage
• Oversee event breakdown: Ensure function rooms are properly broken down and all equipment is stored correctly for the next event
• Manage team performance: Oversee F&B team, including scheduling, supervision, coaching, and recognition
• Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing

Flexible availability is preferred, with the ability to work evening shifts.
