Voco Zeal Exeter Science Park in Exeter, part of Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC, is recruiting a Food and Beverage Assistant. The role involves delivering attentive service and supporting the guest experience in our premium 4-star hotel.

Salary listed £26,436.80 per year (£12.71 per hour), 40 hours per week, across 5 days. You will assist with food and beverage, maintain dining areas, address guest inquiries, support events, and uphold sustainability training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hospitality role is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and serving of food and beverages with a smile.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas per health standards.
• Provide excellent customer service, address guest enquiries and resolve issues.
• Support the team with setup/clearing tables, restocking, and inventory.
• Help coordinate and run events and special functions.
• Keep areas well-stocked and presented to a high standard.
