Job summary

Center Parcs Whinfell Forest in the United Kingdom is hiring a Housekeeping - Service Support Assistant. You will help keep accommodation guest-ready, support linen and inventory, and assist with laundry, stores, and safety checks on a flexible, part-time basis.

The role includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays with guaranteed minimum hours. A driving licence may be required for some duties; initial training and career development are provided.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and a friendly, helpful approach to guest service.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high cleanliness and safety standards.
• Able to identify issues, report defects and seek practical solutions.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a busy, hands‑on environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean, prepare and support accommodation areas to agreed standards, including deep cleaning when required.
• Deliver, collect and replenish linen, towels, furniture, cleaning materials and inventory.
• Support stock, stores, laundry and logistics activities and complete records accurately.
• Carry out guest‑ready health and safety checks and report defects promptly.
• Provide friendly service to guests and colleagues while working safely and to high standards.
• Work flexibly across Housekeeping support activities, including outdoor work and manual handling.
