Job summary

The Ned City of London is looking for a Host to greet members and guests, settling them in across our ten restaurant spaces. You will be the first friendly face and set the tone for a memorable visit.

Reporting to the Senior Reception Manager, you will handle reservation requests, learn guests’ preferences over time, and help the service teams surprise and delight with outstanding hospitality. Experience is welcome but not essential, and a calm, can-do attitude is valued.

Qualifications

• Bright personality with warmth and a passion for outstanding hospitality.
• Experience advantageous but not essential for this role.
• Calm demeanour and ability to defuse situations in high-pressure moments.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team of hosts welcoming and settling our members and guests, setting the tone for the rest of the visit.
• Handle requests and queries regarding reservations.
• Build rapport with repeat guests over time, learning their preferences and what makes for an amazing experience.
• Set our management and service teams up for success by providing key information about the guests to allow them to surprise and delight them with exceptional hospitality.
