Job summary

Meridian is looking for an accommodation cleaner at Cannington Court events and meeting centre in Somerset TA5. The role is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30–12:30, starting ASAP for an initial 6 weeks with the possibility of extension.

Pay is £13.45 per hour plus holiday pay; must have own transport as public transport is limited, with free parking and weekly pay. Immediate start and potential ongoing work for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest accommodation
• Complete routine and deep cleaning tasks per schedules
• Use cleaning equipment and COSHH-safe chemicals
• Monitor cleanliness and address spillages promptly
• Replenish toilet paper, soap and towels
• Dispose of waste and follow recycling procedures
• Report maintenance concerns to the manager
• Work with team to keep areas clean and presentable
• Maintain high personal hygiene and use PPE when required
