Job summary

Sunseeker International Limited is seeking a GRP Finisher to join the Portland team, working on GRP structures and moulds. You will contribute to high-quality finishes across multiple boat lines and operate within a specialist team at Osprey Quay.

The role is a permanent, day-shift position from Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:30, based at Sunseeker Osprey Quay in Portland, Dorset. Prior GRP finishing or car body repair experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• GRP Finisher with experience in car body repair or marine industry.
• Based at Sunseeker Osprey Quay, Portland, Dorset.
• Shift: Day shift Monday–Friday 07:00–15:30.

Responsibilities

• Finish and repair GRP structures across boat lines.
• Prepare and release moulds and maintain quality workmanship.
• Work in a small team to meet production goals and uphold Sunseeker quality.

Who we are seeking

We are now recruiting GRP Finishers to join the Sunseeker team. As a Sunseeker GRP Finisher, your work will be admired and respected in marinas across the world.

The most suitable candidates for this role will have relevant experience in car body repair work or preferably experience within the marine industry.

At Sunseeker Osprey Quay in Portland, Dorset, you will be working within a former naval aircraft hanger as part of a specialist team to support the manufacture of our award-winning product range.

Example responsibilities include

As a Sunseeker GRP Finisher, you will work across the vast majority of our boat lines, finishing and repairing GRP structures alongside preparing and releasing various sized moulds. Working as a small team, you’ll seek to achieve the production goals set out, helping to maintain impeccable quality throughout as part of our trademark Sunseeker quality promise.

• Is driven to complete work to the best of their ability even when given tight tolerances
• Understands and is mindful of the Company’s Health and Safety procedures at all times
• Day Shift | Monday-Friday, 07:00-15:30

Our pay rates

• Basic hourly rates from £14.42 to £16.53, depending on experience
• Overtime rates of up to £24.79 (x1.5 rate) and £33.06 (x2 rate, Sundays/Bank Holidays) - please note that Overtime is not guaranteed and it is allocated based on business needs at the time
