Job summary

Sunseeker International in Portland is seeking a Paint Sprayer for a 10-12 week contract at our Osprey Quay site. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:30, with pay between £15.50 and £16.53 per hour (PAYE) plus 30 days holiday. The role focuses on preparing surfaces and applying coatings to yacht superstructures, hulls, and decks.

You will use Awlfair fillers, gravity-fed guns, and a DA sander/hoover as needed, contributing to the finish on our world‑leading superyachts.

Qualifications

• Experience with surface prep in boatyard or automotive setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces (filling, fairing, smoothing).
• Operate Awlfair fillers and gravity-fed guns for application.
• Paint using appropriate equipment; ensure quality finish on hulls and superstructures.
• Maintain cleanliness and safe working practices on site.

At our Osprey Quay site in Portland, you'll be working on superstructures, hulls, decks, and small moulds that become part of our award‑winning yachts.

What You'll Be Doing

Get ready for variety, pace, and real craftsmanship:

• 70-80% prep work - filling, fairing, and perfecting surfaces
• Using Awlfair fillers (experience with other fillers is welcome!)
• Painting when required using gravity-fed guns
• Using your own DA sander and hoover (optional to bring your own spray gun)

Every task you complete directly contributes to the finish and feel of a world‑class vessel, and you'll see your work come to life as each yacht takes shape on the production line.
