Job summary

Outpost in London is hiring a junior generalist to join the core engine of product, onboarding, market launches, finance, and GTM. You’ll own concrete pieces from day one, working across the business rather than in a single silo.

You’ll collaborate directly with the founding team to turn insights into product requirements, participate in merchant conversations, and help drive market expansions with hands-on ownership. This role blends breadth with rapid learning and real impact.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience, or exceptional straight out of university.
• Internships or a first role in high-growth fintech or tech, consulting, banking, or startup.
• STEM or quantitative degree preferred, but not required if you can demonstrate analytical horsepower.
• Evidence you've built, run, or fixed something real: a project, a business, a system, an analysis.

Responsibilities

• Sit close to merchants and the market, feed learnings back into the product roadmap.
• Help scope features: gather pain points, size the opportunity, write the first draft of the spec.
• Track product performance and competitive positioning, and keep the team honest with numbers.
• Run onboarding, compliance, and merchant operations processes.
• Support new market launches: own the checklist of legal, tax, payments, and operational steps and drive it to done.
• Join customer conversations, prepare the materials, chase follow-ups that keep deals moving.
• Write the playbooks and documentation that let us scale without adding headcount.
• Build and maintain the models behind unit economics, pricing, and market planning.
• Keep KPI tracking and reporting clean, current, and trusted.
