Job summary

TALA, known for activewear, is hiring an Assistant Management Accountant to join the finance team. You’ll report to the Head of Finance and work closely with our outsourced accountant, owning the day-to-day rhythm and ensuring timely monthly close in a fast-growing, product-led business.

Responsibilities span month-end, supplier invoicing, receivables, inventory costing, and reporting using Xero, Cin7 and Shopify data. A professional qualification and 2+ years in accounting are preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or qualified in professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA).
• 2+ years in an accounts department, familiar with P&L and balance sheet.
• Strong Excel skills with financial data handling.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end journals, accruals, prepayments, depreciation and payroll.
• Produce monthly management accounts with commentary for action.
• Support accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations.
• Maintain inventory costing and margin reporting with product/channel views.
