Job summary

NuBreed Group Ltd in the United Kingdom seeks an Assistant Accountant to support month-end close, reconciliations, ledgers, and management accounts. You will gain exposure to intercompany processes and day-to-day finance duties in a high-volume environment.

The role offers long-term development within Finance and opportunities to progress into month-end and managerial accounting tasks.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or newly qualified ACCA/CIMA.
• Experience in Assistant Accountant or similar finance role.
• Advanced Excel skills (SUMIFS/XLOOKUP) and Office 365 proficiency.
• Strong communication, attention to detail and drive to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end processes including journals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets and support for management accounts.
• Manage aged debtors and credit control, invoicing and cash collection.
• Manage aged creditors and supplier payments, reconcile statements and run payment runs.
• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Review company expenses and ensure compliance with policy.
