Job summary

St Basils is seeking a Head of Business Development & Innovation to lead strategic growth within the Progression Directorate in Birmingham. You will collaborate with the Director of Progression to expand prevention and housing-related support services for vulnerable young people and to retain and grow Local Authority contracts.

You will lead procurement and tender activities, forge partnerships with commissioners and internal teams, and support service managers in meeting KPIs while delivering

Qualifications

• Experience in housing, health and social care sectors beneficial.
• Ability to identify opportunities aligned with organisational objectives.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Progression to enhance prevention and housing-related support services for vulnerable young people.
• Retain current business and strategically expand Local Authority contracts.
• Lead procurement and tender activities for St Basils to secure high-quality services.
• Foster internal and external partnerships and support Youth Service Operations Managers in meeting contractual KPIs.
