Job summary

YMCA Chiltern Group is seeking a senior leader to head Strategic Income & Growth, driving sustainable income streams and strengthening financial resilience to increase community impact. You will lead a diverse income portfolio, identify and pursue contracts, grants and corporate opportunities, while coordinating across finance, operations and impact teams to deliver evidence-based proposals.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience in income generation, fundraising, business development or related field
• Strong strategic thinking, commercial awareness and financial acumen
• Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Lead identification, assessment and pursuit of income opportunities, contracts and partnerships
• Oversee a trusts, grants and foundations programme with compelling, accurate funder reports
• Develop an enterprise and commercial income portfolio aligned with the organisation's strategy and mission
• Strengthen forecasting, pipeline management and budget oversight with data-driven decision making
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (finance, operations, impact, etc.) to deliver competitive, evidence-based submissions
• Build partnerships and events to generate unrestricted income and support organisational resilience
