Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking a Business Process Services Associate Director focused on growth. You will lead delivery teams across offshore/offshore and liaison with client leadership to identify outsourcing value and drive revenue.

In this role you will manage pipeline, forecasting, resourcing, and development of the team, including collaboration with GT India, with potential overseas travel. You will contribute to client work when required and build strong relationships, expand engagement

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering outsourced accounting or finance services (management accounts, VAT, statutory reporting).
• Experience managing and developing a team, including resourcing and capability planning.
• Experience of successful sales and business development to support growth; prior BPO sales is a plus.
• Flexible to travel to other offices (within and outside the UK).

Responsibilities

• Support business development activity, including proposals, pitches and origination efforts with the BD and origination teams.
• Shape strategic direction by partnering with clients' leadership teams to understand operating models and where outsourcing adds value.
• Direct pipeline development and forecasting for the portfolio, keeping the order book aligned to growth targets.
• Manage and develop the team, including resourcing, capability planning, and day-to-day oversight of work (onshore and GT India).
• Take a hands-on role in client work where required, delivering on complex or high-priority engagements.
• Build strong client relationships, acting as a trusted contact and expanding scope within existing accounts.
• Contribute to client-facing materials such as case studies and pitch templates.
• Champion best practice across the team and share delivery insights to improve processes.
